Welcome to my web site! I am Elizabeth Fung, 20-something currently living in Iowa. I've been trying to get a sort of website thing together for a long time, just to find somewhere to put what I write online, and in a way that's in my control. This is the third or fourth time I've restarted some sort of web site, so you can see that the process is going really well.

As I've already said, most of what I post on here will just be things that I write. I'm very interested in philosophy, critical theory, and media criticism, so most of what you'll find here will be circling around those fields, with a special interest in modernity/"post"modernity, Marxism, accelerationism, popular music, television, internet culture, the end of history, and the possibility of a better world. I'll try my best to avoid pseudointellectuality in stating outright that I have no pretentions of anything I put on here having any sort of academic rigor. I will take my own thoughts seriously according to my own criteria, but at the end of the day these are all half-finished warblings on topics typically associated with academia. I'm an undergraduate student in English, I obviously don't think I'm writing the Critique of Pure Reason here, but if you're interested in these topics and maybe what I think about them then feel free to read.
